John Cheever and the Mad Men Connection

With the return of the fourth season of Mad Men there's been a flurry of articles discussing the show. I found this piece in the New York Times to be very interesting. It discusses how John Cheever's town of Ossining was chosen as the home of Betty and Don Draper. Even their street, Bullet Park Road, is named after the 1969 Cheever novel. Good reading.
